Adrienne is the co-founder and owner of Millcreek. She has over 15 years of counseling experience. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from BYU and a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Utah. Adrienne is trained in EMDR and Interfamily Systems therapy. She specializes in trauma, grief and loss, attachment, relationships, and adoption issues. Adrienne is a wife and mother of two and she lives in Holladay, Utah.

Makensie graduated from Brigham Young University with a Master’s in Social Work Degree in 2013. Her undergraduate degree was from Utah State University in Family and Human Development. During her Master studies, she interned at The Green House Center, in Pleasant Grove, and gained a love for working with children. She also interned at LDS Family Services and gained experience in working with adolescents and adults. Makensie spent most of her employment at The Green House Center working with a wide range of individuals, from children to adults.
Makensie works with adults, adolescents, and children struggling with depression, attachment difficulties, anxiety, self-harm, grief, addictions, and trauma. She practices cognitive therapy techniques, play therapy, sand-tray, art, and EMDR to promote healing from trauma. She believes in the power of relationships and the healing impact it can have on an individual’s life.
Makensie also specializes in helping parents/caregivers that have a family member with a chronic illness. She knows this personally and wants to help provide support for those going through the illness themselves or the caregivers.
Makensie was born and raised in Littleton, Colorado. She met her husband, Jason, at Utah State and they have been married for 13 years and have 4 darling children. They enjoy being active and are regular participants in triathlons, water-skiing, mountain biking, and snow skiing

Rebecca graduated from the University of Utah with a Master’s in Social Work after completing her Bachelor’s degrees in Interpersonal Communications and Spanish. She worked for LDS Family Services as a counselor for over 5 years specializing in relationship issues, as well as anxiety, depression, self-esteem, and grief and loss issues. Rebecca is certified in EMDR therapy and when appropriate, utilizes it as part of the therapy process. She enjoys working with children, adolescents and adults in helping them achieve their full potential.
Rebecca especially feels passionate about helping couples. Her approach is based in Emotional Focused Therapy (EFT) techniques that help couples enhance their emotional connection and overcome their relationship distress.
She has been married for over 20 years and has three wonderful children. She enjoys tennis, music, traveling, but most often can be found watching her kids play sports and spending time with her husband and family.

Kate graduated from Brigham Young University Idaho with a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work and received her Masters degree in Social Work from the University of Utah. She began providing individual, family and group counseling services in a residential setting. As a social worker, Kate aims to evaluate and assist her clients from a holistic lens. This includes examining both systemic factors and individual characteristics that might be contributing to obstacles in a client’s life. Kate values meeting her clients where they’re at to collaborate on overall healing and growth. She enjoys working with millennials, young adults, kids and adults alike and makes it a point to erase the stigma surrounding mental health treatment and the world of therapy. Kate has four beautifully wild children and loves to hike, dance, laugh and eat ice cream. She lives in South Jordan, Utah with her family.

Chelsea graduated from the University of Utah with an MS in Social Work. She has been working in the social work field since 2008. She has worked in an array of settings with many different populations. Chelsea uses a strength-based approach to support clients overcome a variety of personal challenges. She enjoys working individuals who struggle with depression, anxiety, grief/loss, life transitions, and relationship issues. Chelsea’s goal is to help individuals gain a greater awareness of their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors; as well as to build upon strengths and foster resilience. Chelsea is married with 3 children and enjoys spending time with her family, as well as being outdoors and traveling.

Tyne has been working as a Mental Performance Consultant for the past 6 years for the United States Military. He is currently working as a Clinical Mental Health Counselor. He received his Bachelor’s degree from Utah Valley University, and his first Master’s Degree in Exercise Sport Science, with an emphasis in Sport and Performance Psychology from the University of Utah. Tyne also received a second Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Adam’s State University. He is a Certified Mental Performance Consultant (CMPC) though the Association for Applied Sport Psychology (AASP). Tyne specializes in helping clients develop and use mental skills to optimize performance, increase enjoyment, and improve personal development in sport or other domains such as the performing arts, and the Military. His focus is helping identify core values, beliefs, thoughts, emotions, and behaviors that negatively influence both performances and mental health concerns. He is well trained in REBT, DBT, CBT, Solution-focused therapy. In his clinical training, he is focusing on anxiety, depression, and trauma related issues. Tyne enjoys spending time with his family and traveling the world.

Jacqueline Lovell-Lantz is an experienced counselor and mentor and has worked on both the clinical and business sides of counseling and non-profit work. She has her Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Michigan and has 15 years of experience helping clients and employees work through personal and business challenges. One of Jacqueline’s biggest strengths is connecting with people and helping them build the insight and confidence needed to work through life’s challenges. Her clinical specialties include depression, anxiety, relationship issues, self-esteem, and managing significant life changes. Jacqueline grew up in Michigan but has lived in Utah since 2013. She has a wonderful husband and two smart and active young boys. In addition to being with them, she loves to cycle, cook, and listen to podcasts.

Before pursuing her graduate studies, Julia worked for three years as an adoption and birth parent counselor, and later spent a year at the Center for Change. During her master’s program, she completed an internship at South Valley Sanctuary, where she counseled women experiencing domestic violence.
Following graduation, Julia worked at Davis Behavioral Health as a full-time counselor, providing individual and group therapy to adults and teens. She also served as a hospital social worker at Primary Children’s Hospital, supporting patients and families in various clinic settings.
Julia works with adults and adolescents facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, relationship issues, addictions, and grief. Her therapeutic approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Mindfulness-Based techniques to help clients find balance and healing.
Outside of work, Julia has been married for ten years and loves spending time with her family. She enjoys traveling, reading, crafting, and staying active through exercise.

Kyle has a master’s degree in Social Work from Brigham Young University and a double bachelor’s degree from the University of Utah. He specializes in working with people suffering from anxiety/depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder, addiction and trauma. He is also an experienced couple’s and family therapist, using Emotionally Focused Therapy to help address and resolve conflict while strengthening attachment bonds. He has worked in the mental health field for over 20 years in Canada, North Carolina, California and Maryland. A native of Holladay, Kyle is happy to call the Wasatch Front “home” where he enjoys being close to extended family and all things outdoors.

Carolynn is currently a doctoral student studying Community Care and Counseling with a focus in Traumatology. She has a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, is a certified Building a Lasting Connection Facilitator, and is an EFT couple’s therapist.
Carolynn has a passion for helping individuals, families, and couples manage crisis and stress and process and heal from all of life’s traumas whether big or small. Carolynn recognizes that therapy can be hard work and very vulnerable and strives to provide a fun, safe, and warm space where you can learn to create stronger connections in your relationships, find greater joy and purpose in your life, identify dysfunctional patterns, improve your coping skills, and process past trauma.
Carolynn was born and raised in Holladay Utah, and recently moved to Bluffdale Utah with her husband and kids. She currently sees clients in both the Millcreek and Bluffdale locations.

Nicole has a passion for personal education and cultivating skills for healthy relationships. She utilizes trauma-informed, family systems, and attachment-based approaches in therapy. She enjoys working with children, adolescents, and adults. Nicole’s goal as a clinician is to empower clients as they learn to face personal discontent and work towards preparing themselves for their own fulfilling futures.
Nicole enjoys outdoor activities, including cycling, hiking, fishing, and gardening. She is an avid reader and loves to spend time with her family and friends.

Cortney received her Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from the University of Utah and her Master’s degree in Social Work from Fordham University in New York. She received her clinical training from Yale Child Study Center, where she developed her skills and love for working with children. She then continued her training and career at Odyssey House Children’s Services. Cortney is a skilled play therapist and specializes in working with children of all ages and their families. She is especially passionate about helping children who suffer with anxiety and attachment disorders. Cortney resides with her husband and four children in Holladay.

Mandy takes a client-centered approach and tailors therapy to meet each individual’s needs, drawing from evidence-based and depth-oriented modalities. She speaks Spanish and welcomes clients seeking therapy in this language. With a background in Applied Behavior Analysis therapy for children affected by autism spectrum disorder, Grace has experience in enhancing independence and overall quality of life for children and adolescents. Her externship from The International Centre for Excellence in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and her experience as a certified Life Coach also fortify her therapeutic background.
Grace creates a safe, inclusive space where clients can freely explore their emotions, thoughts and behaviors without judgment. Sh offers valuable aid to those navigating the multifaceted challenge of considering separation or divorce. She focuses on helping couples heal from betrayal or loss of intimacy, improve communication, feel connected and safe with each other, and nurture healthier family dynamics. Madeline is a certified social worker with a compassionate, client-centered approach who loves working with young adults, adolescents, children, and families. She is passionate about creating a safe, healing environment where clients feel empowered and understood. Madeline does this by focusing on a person’s strengths and inner resources and reducing blame. She is firmly committed to the belief that each person has worth and is capable of growth and healing. Madeline’s recent experience includes working as a therapist at New Haven Residential Treatment Center, providing intensive therapeutic support to adolescent girls with ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, personality, substance use, anxiety, body image, and depressive disorders. Prior to New Haven, she worked with children and families through Provo School District and the Primary Children’s Outpatient Behavioral Hospital.
Madeline holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a Minor in Global Women’s Studies, in addition to a Master’s degree in Social Work from Utah Valley University. Her personal therapeutic approach most commonly blends CBT and DBT methods with supportive psychotherapy, although she is trained in a variety of modalities including Trauma-Informed Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and play therapy. Madeline believes strongly in a client-centered therapeutic approach, tailoring modalities to individual needs and interests. She is also passionate about exploring novel approaches for client-care, and is currently working towards certification in EMDR.
Outside of work, Madeline enjoys practicing yoga, swimming, spending time outdoors, going to concerts, and reading. On the weekends she can often be found traveling, connecting with her family and friends, or out in nature with her husband and their energetic dog.

Emily is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Brigham Young University in 2005. She later went on to receive a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Utah. Emily has worked with various populations in the social work field since 2004. She has worked specifically in the adoption field since 2009. Emily joined Millcreek when the started their program in 2014 and stepped into the Adoption Manager position a few years later. Emily specializes in working with expectant parents, birth parents and adoptive parents.
Emily’s therapeutic work experiences includes counseling with adolescents, at-risk youth, and adults struggling with anxiety, depression, grief, loss, infertility, etc. Emily cares for the clients she works with and wants to provide support and education to aid them in their goals.
Emily lives in Orem with her husband and 3 boys. She enjoys travel, hiking, live music, attending her boys’ music and sporting events.
